"A PLACE WHERE HISTORY HAPPENS"
 

You can participate in the "HISTORY HAPPENS PROJECT" for a donation of $100.00, to be used toward the museum's expansion and continuing operation. Your name... or a loved one's ... will be permanently engraved in a red paving brick and set on the grounds of the Nevada State Railroad Museum at Carson City. Each brick offers up to three lines of twenty letters each (including spacing and punctuation). Ample space for names, messages or whatever you wish to say to future visitors. You will be proud to display the numbered certificate you will receive acknowledging your contribution and restating your brick's inscription.

The bricks are laid in the Memorial Walkway alongside Memorial Walkway alongside twice a year, before Memorial Day and before the museum's annual Railroad History Symposium. Future paving may include additional walkways, outdoor interpretive areas and plazas.

The "HISTORY HAPPENS PROJECT" is a joint venture of the Nevada State Railroad Museum and its support group, the "Friends of the Nevada State Railroad Museum." All of the proceeds of the project will be used solely for the purposes of expanding and operating the facilities and exhibits of the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City, Nevada.
